The Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) has reported flowing wadis from several areas in various governorates, especially in Dakhiliyah, South al Batinah Governorate.
Heavy rains (25-50 mm) accompanied by active downward winds in the range of (30-45 knots) are expected in Muscat, Al Dakhiliyah and North al Batinah South al Batinah, North al Sharqiyah, South al Sharqiya, Buraimi, and Al Dhahirah.
There are chances of hail and floods due to flowing wadis with reduced horizontal visibility in some governorates.
The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) called on everyone to take caution and caution during thunderstorms, not to cross valleys, avoid low places, and not to go to the sea.
